Folk/Prog band Pagan Harvest take inspiration from the English
landscape, that sense of place that can be found in Shakespeare’s
forests and moors, Wordsworth’s mountains and streams, and even on
Westminster Bridge.
On 1st February 2018 they released their second album. Entitled
'Sacred River' it is a bold artistic statement encompassing the
myths, legends and magic of London and the River Thames.
In this podcast Pagan Harvest discuss the process of composition
that created their 2018 album Sacred River. Lawrence Reed talks in
depth about his approach to writing the music and how his recent
Masters degree in composition has been influential in developing
his
distinctive style.
The featured song from the album on this podcast is 'Thorney Island'
