Momentum is potentially one of the most effective agents for change to have emerged in UK politics for many years. A team formed to support Jeremy Corbyn's successful Labour Party leadership campaign stayed together and became a grass roots organisation galvanising the youth of England to engage in politics in a new way.

Philip Brown is a leading light in the Watford Branch of Momentum and he came into the Invisible Folk Club studio to tell us his personal story and his hopes for the future.

The podcast session is in 3 episodes each of approximately 45 minutes with each bookended by hard hitting songs performed by Jon Bickley.

This is Episode 1 opening with 'The Flames of Grenfell Tower' and closing with 'It's the Poor Who Make the Songs' both written by Jon Bickley
