Folk/Prog band Pagan Harvest take inspiration from the English landscape, that sense of place that can be found in Shakespeare’s forests and moors, Wordsworth’s mountains and streams, and even on Westminster Bridge.

On 1st February 2018 they released their second album. Entitled 'Sacred River' it is a bold artistic statement, a hybrid of dark folk, classical and progressive rock influences encompassing the myths, legends and magic of London and the River Thames.

Songwriter Jon Bickley talks to Invisible Folk Club producer Steve Yarwood about the lyrical themes which evoke an atmosphere of ancient London in the time of Charles Dickens and much much earlier.
